Shoe Organizing for oh so many shoes
I walk into lots homes where there are an abundance of shoes. I’m not going to tell you to toss or give away all your perfectly good shoes and boots. I will share some practical shoe organizing solutions to help you deal with your shoes that will help to preserve and lengthen their life and be easy on your pocket book.
3 Shoe Organizing Solutions:
1. Clear Shoe Boxes – clear shoe boxes are inexpensive to buy and when you no longer need them or so many of them, they can be re-purposed. Store make-up, crafts, sewing supplies, crayons, jewelry, accessories, Lego, nails, screws and small tools. Almost anything small that you need or want to store will fit into one of these clear boxes. And no need for labelling since they are clear.
They are a good investment that can be used for a long time.
2. Old Liquor Boxes – If you enjoy creating things you can use wall paper or gift wrap to decorate this box below. Boxes can be picked up at your local LCBO.
Short on Space. Another great shoe organizing solution.
And again, another flexible solution.
3. Over the Door Plastic Hanger – The over the door plastic shoe rack allows you to see everything. And they can also be used in other rooms as well. I.E the bathroom – Q-tips, cotton balls, hair dryer, brushes, make-up, razors and more. They also work well for the kitchen pantry! Be sure to pay a little more to increase the likelihood of this item being more durable and lasting longer.
Think outside the box on how to use these hanging organizers throughout your home. Great suggestions for college/university dorms, apartments and retirement homes. Or even in the basement for all those extras or out of seasons shoes.
