Back to school shopping can be a daunting task. You forget some things and buy others that you have plenty of on hand.
1. Make a list…Before you go clothing shopping.
Take inventory of what the kids have from last year. Do those clothes fit, are they currently in fashion, etc.
Purge and pack the rest. Pack the rest into a bin or a Ziploc Storage Bag and store. You now know what your children need and you’ve made room in the closets and drawers for the new clothes.
2. Make a bit of money.
Recycle those summer clothes not needed that are still in great shape. Bring kids clothing that no longer fits to a consignment shop in exchange for cash.
3. Check inventory of Homework Supplies.
Make a list and Include: lined and unlined paper, pencils, pens, markers, rulers, erasers, graph paper, glue, pencil sharpener, scissors and anything else your children might need to complete their homework.
